Compassion based social network, AnonCare has been selected as a Finalist for the 2017 ‘Emerge Pitch Competition’ at University of Oxford, which will see revolutionary start-ups with game-changing ideas present their transformational projects to expert judges and Emerge delegates.

AnonCare will be going head to head with the most promising start-ups that drive social impact change on national and global stages. The competition supports social ventures at Emerge which convenes those driving transformational change and those that want to get involved.

In collaboration with Mustard Seed, the Pitch Competition is part of Emerge 2017, a two-day social innovation conference, an inspiring and energetic weekend at the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, with 80 speakers and 500 attendees which include professionals, entrepreneurs, students, and sector-defying organisations.

Since its launch in 2013, AnonCare has become a popular global peer support network, reducing pressures on the health industry by connecting users to take care of each other. Available on desktop and smartphone devices, the technology leverages the collective wisdom of its global membership to respond to individual challenges.

Jyotveer Singh, Chief Executive Officer of AnonCare said: “We’re really looking forward to pitching against the best and brightest entrepreneurs. Being a technology that is focused on enhancing compassion across the world, it is a huge honour to speak about our values-led technology on a stage, once shared by Nelson Mandela.”

The Emerge Pitch Competition will take place on Sunday, 12th November in the Nelson Mandela Lecture Theatre, Saïd Business School.
